It's hard to believe the FootJoy Brand celebrated its 100th birthday last year. In 1923, The Field and Flint Company launched what they believed to be the best shoe on the market, using the name FootJoy for the first time and the tagline “A shoe that’s different.”
Shortly after, in 1927, the Field and Flint Company's FootJoy line of golf shoes became the official shoe for the American Ryder Cup team captained by Walter Hagen.
Then, in 1945, FootJoy won its first PGA Tour shoe count. And we haven’t looked back!
Fast-forward to 2021 and the introduction of a new flagship footwear category – Premiere Series. A “modern classic” that reflects today's golfer's style and performance needs, the Premiere Series instantly becomes the #1 shoe on the PGA Tour and is worn by more Tour Professionals than almost all other companies combined.
